Who’s behind?

My name is Alex, I’m an educator, and yes, I also live with herpes.
That diagnosis changed more than my health; it changed my perspective. I realized the hardest part of herpes isn’t the virus itself; it’s the emotional weight that comes with it: the shame, the secrecy, the way it can make people question their worth.
That’s why I created Learn About Herpes, to change that conversation. To combine mental health, medical understanding, and practical tools for living a full, confident life.
I didn’t create this blog to talk about the virus. I created it to talk about living again, with courage, curiosity, and care.
“If you are here, I hope this space helps you feel a little more seen, a little more informed, and a lot less alone”
